It is important to have your vehicle serviced to ensure the healthy running of your engine, over time your car may become clogged up with soot, dust and anything else it may have picked up from the road.
We can re-set your service light and stamp your service book. Regularly servicing your vehicle will help to maintain the value of your car, also helping to spot any problems which may be starting to develop thus saving you money in the long run.
We offer two types of service:
Major Service: "Starting from £80 labour + vat + parts. Recommended every 10-12,000 miles or once year, whichever occurs first."
Minor Service: "Starting from £40 labour + vat + parts. Recommended every 5-6,000 miles or every 6 months, which ever occurs first."
Our fully trained technicians will run through a check list which you will be provided with, highlighting any issues that you might want to rectify in the near future or if they identify anything dangerous they will call you immediately.
Some customers have their MOT and Service done at the same time, while others like to break it up and have them done 6 months apart so that the vehicle is being checked several times a year – please note that an MOT and Service are not the same thing and check different sections of the vehicle.
Timing belt replacement
It is very important you know when your timing belt is due for renewal as it keeps the engine in time, thus if it snaps then it can cause a lot of expensive damage. If you require any help on when yours might be due or how much it will cost please contact us. Please note not all vehicles have timing belts, some have timing chains fitted.
Diagnostics
Our fully trained technicians can carry out diagnostic checks on your vehicle by plugging in the code reader, identifying the fault codes then carrying out further investigations.
No work will be carried out without authority from the owner. Diagnostic charges are £40 + Vat for the first hour then £40 per hour after then (we always try and have a diagnosis within the first hour, if not we will call and ask your permission to continue).
